Capability
Wargaming and Exercise Support
Wargame planning, design, facilitation, and faculty development across the Marine Corps professional military education enterprise.
The problem
What customers face
Professional military education institutions need wargaming woven through their curricula, but faculty rarely have time to master game systems, facilitate events, and develop new tools while teaching. Without dedicated support, wargaming stays an occasional event instead of a core educational method.
Our approach
What WBSI delivers
WBSI fields a team of specialized wargame professionals supporting Marine Corps University's Wargaming Directorate in the Brute Krulak Center for Innovation and Future Warfare. We provide wargame planning, content development, instruction, setup, execution, facilitation, and after action reports for resident and non-resident professional military education courses. We run tutorials on game systems such as the Operational Wargame System (OWS) and Command Professional Edition, deliver micro-courses on the art and science of wargame facilitation, support school-wide tournaments, and train faculty and students in wargame design and facilitation.
The value to your mission
Institutions gain a repeatable, professionally facilitated wargaming program that scales from a seminar tabletop exercise to an executive-level event, with a growing bench of certified facilitators among their own faculty.
