SeaPort-NxG Prime Contract Holder

In June 2018, the U.S. Navy awarded WBSI a multiple-award contract under SeaPort-NxG, the Navy's primary vehicle for engineering, technical, and programmatic support services.

About the vehicle

What SeaPort-NxG covers

SeaPort-NxG is the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) contract vehicle for procuring professional support services across the Department of the Navy. WBSI's multiple-award contract supports all phases of weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle support, including research and development, prototyping, acquisition logistics, modeling, test and evaluation trials, and engineering.

Through SeaPort-NxG, WBSI can support NAVSEA, Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (formerly SPAWAR), Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Military Sealift Command, Strategic Systems Programs, and the U.S. Marine Corps.

Task orders compete among vehicle holders, so government customers get pre-qualified contractors, standardized ordering under the vehicle's concept of operations, and no agency service fee. Teaming partners are added per task order, which lets WBSI assemble the right team for each requirement.

How to use this vehicle

  1. Identify your requirement within the vehicle's engineering, technical, and programmatic support scope.
  2. Contact WBSI's vehicle manager to discuss the requirement and potential teaming before solicitation.
  3. Issue the task order solicitation through the SeaPort-NxG portal; WBSI responds as a prime with any required team.
